Well, I've finally launched out and made this new website.....thanks to Fineartamerica. They are awesome!

I've not been able to paint much lately due to this Counselling and Family Therapy (Christian) course that I've been doing all year. It'll give me a Certificate IV in Family Counselling at the end of this year. I won't go on next year to gain my diploma.....I just want to PAINT!

I've been trying various new techniques lately. I went to a couple of great workshops with Kym Barrett from the Sunshine Coast. They were great and really took me outside my comfort zone. I like to paint images but WANT to paint more abstractly. She made me paint in abstraction and I loved it. Now to do more of it and incorporate it into my own style....whatever that is!

I just finished a painting of my granddaughter, Eden Joy, playing on the beach....above. I also like this soft style of painting children on the beach and want to put together enough of these paintings to do an exhibition somewhere. Maybe at the end of next year?
